For more than a decade, I’ve produced large-scale events and helped people step onto stages, tell their stories and move a room.
For the last six years, I’ve been exploring a different kind of stage:
the body.
Movement, breath, sound, sensation, ritual and play taught me how to get out of my head and into my life.
To feel instead of numb.
Express instead of suppress.
Trust what my body was telling me.
Stop changing myself to fit in.
And actually enjoy being a human in a body.
These practices changed my life. Now I create spaces for other people to experience them, too.
What I Do
I create playful places to practice being fully alive.
Here’s something I learned from producing events:
The people who do best on stage are the ones who rehearse.
They walk the stage.
Feel the room.
Find their footing.
Let their body experience the moment before the moment actually matters.
I think we need places to rehearse life, too.
Places to practice being seen. Taking up space. Saying what we actually want. Trusting our gut. Feeling our feelings. Playing without worrying about looking stupid. Places to discover what it feels like to be fully, gloriously ourselves.
That’s what I create.
We move. We breathe. We make sound. We play. We feel. We connect. We experiment.
Not because there's a right way to do it.
Because the more we practice being ourselves, the easier it becomes to stay ourselves when it really matters.
Consider it rehearsal for a more fully expressed life.
